We are seeking a qualified Cost Accounting Manager for our corporate office.  This position helps direct operational improvement that ties to the financial performance of the company. The person in this role will interface with operations, sales, finance, product line management and executive management. The focus will be on the manufacturing costs of products and the cost to serve our customers.  The position will utilize the standard cost system leveraging SAP CO controlling module and other software tools in relationship to product costs. The position will establish capturing and applying the cost to serve to our customers.  As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will be responsible to:

• Develop and maintain standard cost system
• Establish a system to a means to capture the cost to serve our customers
• Prepare monthly variance analysis report for manufacturing and standard cost variances
• Apply methodologies to map cost to serve to our customers
• Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management
• Develop metric and tracking system for major cost drivers for cost centers and customers
• Participate in profitability analysis with regards to quoting and costing
• Work with manufacturing and supply chain to drive efficiencies in production and purchasing
• Analyze changes in product formulation, raw material or manufacturing methods to determine effects on cost
• Participate in gross margin analysis for each product line
• Work with sales and service to identify cost to serve and eliminate non-value added efforts

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting roles with manufacturing standard cost accounting; Finance, and operations management background
• Possess experience with manufacturing environments.
• SAP experience with module implementation: Controller, Production Planning, and Materials Management modules.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports
• Exceptional customer service skill.

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

• Certified Management Accountant and/or Certified Cost Accountant is plus.
