Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Professional Services Team Lead to oversee the delivery of specialized client solutions for Microvellum Toolbox and INNERGY Design. In this role, you will lead the Engineering-focused Professional Services team, including Library Validation Specialists and CNC Integration Specialists, ensuring high-quality delivery of services that enable clients to unlock full value from their engineering workflows.
This role requires balancing speed, quality, and prioritization of services that are included as part of the client engagement versus those that are paid professional services. You will play a central role in managing client expectations, driving efficiency, and ensuring profitable delivery of projects while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor the Engineering-focused Professional Services team, including Library Validation and CNC Integration Specialists. Provide guidance, support, and resources to ensure the team delivers accurate, timely, and high-value solutions. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing culture.
Client Portfolio Management: Manage a smaller portfolio of clients directly, assisting with library validation
CNC toolfile integration, and advanced engineering workflows in Toolbox and Design. Provide expert consultation to ensure clients’ libraries and integrations are configured, validated, and production-ready.
Balance of Free vs. Paid Services: Set clear expectations for both clients and internal teams regarding which services are included and which require paid engagements. Ensure the right balance of speed, quality, and prioritization across all client projects.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with Onboarding, Client Success, and Product teams to ensure seamless client experiences and effective handoffs. Act as a bridge between client-facing teams and development resources when addressing technical challenges.
Time to Value & Client Satisfaction: Drive time to value for Toolbox and Design by ensuring libraries and CNC integrations are usable, accurate, and aligned with client goals. Monitor client satisfaction metrics, such as Professional Services NPS, and address challenges to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Professional Services Strategy: Research and implement strategies to enhance the Engineering Professional Services team, with a focus on monetizing custom projects while maximizing value to clients. Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency, profitability, and outcomes.
Project Management: Oversee professional services projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Track progress, provide updates, and work with the team to identify opportunities for upsell or additional value-added services.
Knowledge Sharing & Resource Development: Collaborate with the Content Creation team and other stakeholders to prioritize resources that support library management, CNC integration, and best practices for Toolbox and Design. Ensure documentation and validated libraries are accessible to both clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
Proven experience in professional services, engineering software, or CAD/CAM support roles, ideally within Microvellum Toolbox, INNERGY Design, or related AutoCAD-based manufacturing environments.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding technical teams and delivering client projects.
Deep understanding of engineering libraries, CNC integrations, and design-to-manufacturing workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with clients.

Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, with the ability to refine processes and enhance service delivery.
