Ikano Group has already carried out market and distribution studies relating to the establishment of IKEA stores in Mexico. Inter IKEA Systems B.V. (the owner of the IKEA Concept and worldwide IKEA franchisor) has allocated the market of Mexico to us.

We have an office in Mexico City since April 2017 and are determined to bring a little bit of Sweden to Mexico.

PURPOSE OF FUNCTION

The purpose of the operational function within E-Commerce is to ensure operational excellence, to drive operational development, supporting and developing all aspects of the operation and main processes by integrating the needs of the customer. The function also overviews and supports the financials of the business to navigate the GM, total result, etc., and works towards improving the best service offer for the customer by removing any hindrances to shop, achieving sustained, long-term profitability.

PURPOSE OF JOB

The purpose of the job is to define, develop, implement and manage the operational and administrative processes to support the stability and growth on the online channel.

This is done by:

• Proactively working with all stakeholders to reduce the number of operational discrepancies in order to secure a positive customer experience

Ensuring that online customers have an enjoyable and successful shopping experience.

ASSIGNMENT

• Responsible for order management, tracking and reporting of operational performance of E-Commerce.

• Responsible for maintaining freight parameters in the store and online; securing freight income at the appropriate level; co-ordinating freight tests; and analysing the commercial effects of any changes.

• Actively support the store / CDC in the order picking process, with your in-depth knowledge of the E-Commerce order flow.

• Responsible for the communication and timely application of the E-Commerce delivery matrix and maintaining and expanding the delivery offer to our customers. You will also steer the application of delivery methods through your specialist knowledge of freight parameter and price setting.

• Supporting all BAT testing and website launches to ensure live systems are accurate and as expected.

• Supporting all users in day to day operation of the E-Commerce order flow.

• Responsible for reporting the operational status to the E-Commerce management, combined with recommendations on improvement possibilities.

• You will actively participate in process improvement workshops, and will work closely together with the E-Commerce Process specialist and E-Commerce Business Developer in delivering improvements to the processes.

• An interest in people’s everyday life at home and home furnishing in general.

• Possess an in-depth working knowledge of customer order systems for retail, distribution and transport

• Knowledge about the connectivity of systems processes and functions spanning the E-Commerce operation.

• Problem-solving experience.

• Ability to engage an audience and create passion for the goal.

• Understand profit and loss and how to affect its result through personal actions.

• Ability to prioritise and organise work and the work of others in order to make the most eff

• Retail and/or home furnishing experience.

• Business understanding and a working background gained from putting the customer in focus.

• Understanding of multichannel retail operations.
