Job Description

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Controls material in the staging area prior to loading into Trucks for Sites
  • Inform users immediately orders are received at the warehouse.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Exchange /interact with originators as soon materials subject of their orders is received
  • Notify early (48 hours) any difficulties encountered in any material check.
  • Keep stock-outs folders updated and available for customers’ requisitions follow up.
  • Maintain files for open/closed requisitions, purchase orders, stock outs, partial delivery orders etc.
  • Identify any damaged or missing goods and record pertinent information.
  • Ensure that delivery forms are signed only upon satisfaction of completed delivery.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors
  • Allocate storage space for items based on their types and sizes.
  • Pick out delivered goods and ensure that they are in good condition.
  • Isolate & report any damaged goods at the time of order picking.
  • Ensure that information of picked goods is recorded on Bin Cards
  • Ensure that warehouse activities are in compliance with the IHS’ HSE, safety and security procedures.
  • Record movement of Stock and give Updates on a daily basis.
  • Maintain stable temperature conditions within the warehouse especially where Batteries, chemicals and perishable Items are Stored.
  • Assist in offloading and loading shipment packages from / onto delivery trucks.
  • Receive goods and ensure that they correlate (Type, Quality & Quantity) to the accompanying delivery documents (Three Way Matching)
  • Prepare goods to be shipped out along with appropriate paperwork (MDR, GDN, GRN2 etc.)
  • Ascertain that received goods are stored in their correct storage areas and in accordance with the Producer’s Specification
  • Restock returned items from Sites in their designated storage areas and update inventory information accordingly.

 

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills: working knowledge of Excel spreadsheet &Words
  • Bilingual
  • Good organization skills
  • Basic knowledge on any Material Management software 
  • 2 years experience in the field
