The ERP Presales Consultant is responsible for leading the technical‑commercial engagement with prospects and clients, ensuring that the proposed ERP solutions meet business needs, align with industry best practices, and maximize the value delivered. The role acts in a consultative manner, connecting business processes, technology, and innovation — including Artificial Intelligence — into proposals that support digital transformation with efficiency, scalability, and return on investment (ROI).
Knowledge of EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) and FSM (Field Service Management) will be considered a strong differentiator, especially in asset‑intensive, service‑driven, and field operations environments.
This position is strategic for increasing win rates, technically differentiating the company in the market, and reducing risks throughout the sales cycle.
3. Responsibilities and Key Activities
3.1. Needs Discovery and Analysis
- Conduct technical and business discovery meetings with prospects and clients.
- Identify pain points, critical processes, KPIs, regulatory requirements, and success criteria.
- Map functional gaps and operational risks (AS‑IS / TO‑BE).
- Propose evolutionary scenarios, functional roadmaps, and quick wins.
- Assess organizational, operational, and technological impacts.
3.2. Demonstrations, Presentations, and Storytelling
- Prepare and deliver executive and technical presentations focused on business value and ROI.
- Execute customized ERP demonstrations by industry and use case.
- Build compelling narratives that connect business challenges to ERP capabilities.
- Adapt the technical depth to different audiences (C‑Level, managers, IT, finance, operations).
- Create demo scripts, use cases, and dedicated demonstration environments.
3.3. Proof of Concept (POC) and Technical Assessments
- Plan and execute ERP POCs, pilots, and functional workshops.
- Define success criteria and track outcomes.
- Validate functional fit, integrations, and solution architecture.
- Document results, recommendations, and next steps.
3.4. ERP Solution Architecture
Design of integrated solutions involving:
Core ERP
- Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Projects, and Supply Chain.
- Localization, tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
EAM (Differential)
- Asset management, corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
- Integration with operations, inventory, procurement, and projects.
FSM (Differential)
- Planning and execution of field service operations.
- Work order management, mobility, SLAs, and contracts.
Artificial Intelligence
- Use of Generative AI applied to ERP processes.
- Predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and decision support.
- Copilots, virtual assistants, and process automation.
Integrations and Data
- Integration with legacy systems, satellite ERPs, BI tools, and external platforms.
- APIs, middleware, and data governance.
3.5. Sales Cycle Support
- Build functional and technical proposals.
- Respond to RFPs and RFIs.
- Support Account Executives with deal strategy and positioning.
- Define technical value drivers and win themes.
- Prepare scope, estimates, and technical assumptions.
3.6. Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Product: collect field feedback and support functional evolution.
- Architecture / IT: assess feasibility and integration strategies.
- Delivery: ensure technical handover and post‑sales transition.
- Marketing: support events, webinars, and technical content.
3.7. Market Intelligence
- Track ERP, automation, and AI trends.
- Monitor competitors and market positioning.
- Keep expertise, certifications, and solution knowledge up to date.
Qualifications

4.1. Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
4.2. Mandatory Technical Requirements
- Proven experience in ERP Presales, Consulting, or Solution Architecture.
- Strong understanding of enterprise business processes.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence applied to enterprise solutions.
- Experience delivering executive presentations, demos, and POCs.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
4.3. Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge or hands‑on experience with EAM and FSM.
- Experience with enterprise ERP platforms and complex environments.
- Knowledge of integrations, APIs, and BI solutions.
- Experience in international or multicultural projects.
