Job Description
An Associate Program Manager at IFS is responsible for realizing the intended value of decided investment cases. An Associate program manager is the voice of the customer, provides technical thought leadership, and ensures that we deliver the intended value on time, on budget, and with the right quality, resulting in great customer adoption and high customer satisfaction.
An Associate Program Manager alone or with the guidance of a Program manager drives delivery of investment cases, sometimes multiple investment cases at the same time. He or she needs to work alongside different stakeholders and work across multiple teams whilst advocating and representing business value. Coordination, sequencing and prioritization within the set scope, as well as ensuring work is on track is part of the day-to-day job. An Associate Program Manager works with all aspects of the investment’s life cycle and ensures that the defined best practices are adhered to.
An Associate Program Manager is an evangelist who inspires colleagues, customers and partners both internally and externally. This also includes explaining plans, demonstrating product capabilities and presenting our vision, strategy and roadmap. He or she continuously works to expand domain knowledge, pro-actively shares knowledge and experience, and guides others. Interacting and collaborating effectively across all parts of R&D and the wider organization is a must to succeed.
In the Application Lifecycle Experience unit at IFS RnD, we are delivering solutions that empower our customers to manage their IFS Cloud Solutions. The IFS Lifecycle Experience platform is the first point of interaction for all our IFS Cloud customers. The solution is delivered through a Cloud based SaaS Platform based on Angular, React, .Net Core, Azure, GIT Lab and Azure Dev Ops
As Associate Program Manager you will be expected to:
- Focus on customer value & prioritizes work effectively in a value-driven manner.
- Plan, Execute & Monitor the progress of development work.
- Understand product development and feature requirements.
- Understand technical aspects of the development & support the team on decision making.
- Manage risks, issues & dependencies, coordinating across product & technology areas where required.
- Manage customer escalations and handle communication.
- Secures quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Interact with stakeholders and report progress.
- Be a role model in words and actions.
- Be proactive, drive and take ownership.
- Be communicative and have a yes we can attitude.

Qualifications
You are also someone who·
- Has excellent communication, presentation, strong decision making and negotiation skills.
- Has great coordination skills.
- Can work in extremely volatile and ambiguous situations and take calculated risks to take the team forward.
- Can work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple competing priorities.
- Delegates work appropriately and fairly.
- Experienced in prioritization and making decisions.
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager or in similar capacity.
- Has a good understanding and experience in project management frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe.
- Previous experience around 5+ years in SE track such as Development, QA, DevOps is preferred.
- BSc in IT/Software engineering or similar stream. MBA or MSc. would be an added advantage.
- Professional qualifications PMP, CSPO, CSM or similar would be an added advantage.
