Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, focused, and strategic thinking Sales Account Executive with great collaboration and sales execution skills to help grow the business across the Nordic market unit. This is a hybrid role which can be flexibly located in one our offices in Norway or Sweden.
In this role you will be selling into a territory of new business accounts, and we believe you are energic and entrepreneurial in nature. As the main task is building new pipeline and closing contracts based on solving complex needs in large organizations, you will not work alone. You will need to understand internal processes and how to orchestrate and lead a team of product- and process- specialists which makes this a role where strategic leadership is core.
We believe in value based, consultative selling, which mean you must love talking to your customers to understand their business, their objectives, their processes and why they would buy from IFS. We are so proud of our award-winning products and our deep industry and process knowledge and it for sure is part of the sales process, but we know your skills are as important.
You need to be curious and energic, like to meet or talk more than sending mails. You need to understand the importance of finding the right stakeholders, the mobilizers, the decision makers and use them in your process. We want you to be able to understand their business objectives and be able to transform our capabilities to power messages which makes them understand why to partner with IFS is the best way forward.
As part of this you strive to understand your competition and how to utilize our partners and IFS own delivery organization.
In addition, you must understand the ecosystem and the internal processes of IFS. Where to turn to work efficiently, the importance of motivating and making your team the best they can be. An important part is also documenting and reporting to your management for them to be able to do their jobs.
The work is flexible and with a lot of freedom when showing accountability and expected progress.

Qualifications
You will demonstrate:
- 8+ years of experience selling complex software solutions/projects.
- Experience in signing new logos and meeting personal budgets.
- Experience/ knowledge of industries where key processes are Enterprise Asset-, Project- and/ or Supply Chain management.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with innate curiosity and resilience
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and commitment to data hygiene and accurate reporting.
- (Virtual) Team leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and any of the Scandinavian languages.
- Comfort working within a matrix-rich organization, building relationships, collaborating, motivating, and finding support to get the job done.
Preferred
- Experience of selling ERP or EAM or similar solutions into complex organizations.
- Knowledge from industries like Energy, Natural Resources and Utilities or Construction.
