Job Description
Provide support for Internal Audit operations and professional practices, including Board level, Senior Management, and regulatory reporting. Responsible for the issues management reporting process and support of key Internal Audit dashboard and metrics reporting. Serve as Audit Tool (TeamMate) champion and expert, upgrades/testing, and troubleshooting. Support other departmental initiatives and needs, as applicable.
Job Description
Essential functions include:
- Responsible for the monthly issues management reporting process; and ongoing monitoring of and addressing items from the Internal Audit Issues Management inbox timely.
- Assist in the maintenance and updates of audit policies, methodology, and charter and assess alignment with industry and regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Assist in the production of Board and Senior Management reporting.
- Responsible for the maintenance and production of key Internal Audit metrics and reporting (e.g., training, certifications, Audit Plan schedule/deliverables, risk assessment).
- Respond to and provide support for regulatory inquiries and requests, as applicable.
- Perform quality reviews of risk assessments, issues validation, audit workpapers, and other audit activities.
- Serve as Department’s TeamMate administrator in monitoring and testing of upgrades/enhancements, troubleshooting, and licensing monitoring and renewals.
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding of staff and consultants.
- Assist in managing the Department’s expense management, particularly consulting spend and invoice processing.
- Support other department-wide initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field is required.
- 5+ years of audit experience in financial services and/or public accounting firm.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding the audit lifecycle, including planning, risk assessment, scoping, execution, reporting, and issue follow-up and validation.
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment within Financial Services or Banking industries strongly preferred.
- Strong project and time management skills, ability to effectively balance competing priorities, and demonstrated success in completing projects/tasks on time.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and environment and rapidly develop in-depth knowledge of assigned areas.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to produce high-quality deliverables and outputs.
- Attention to details and strong focus on quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to professionally and effectively interact with all levels of management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio required.
- Prior experience serving as an Audit Quality Assurance Reviewer and/or Audit Professional Practices role strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with Board and Senior Management reporting preferred.
- Prior TeamMate knowledge and data analytics skills and knowledge preferred.
- One of the following certifications is strongly preferred: CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or CAMS.
Compensation
The expected annual salary for this position is between $105,000 and $135,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
