Job Description
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process with focus on quality, TCO and risk mitigation.
- Working with stakeholders to define sourcing strategy
- Leading RFPs (including creation, submission, evaluation, negotiation)
- Negotiating contract renewals and statements of work with existing suppliers
- Negotiating new supplier contracts
- Able to confidently negotiate contract terms and conditions, good understanding of contract law and IT contracts.
- Supporting the supplier relationship management for key suppliers
- Supporting the development of category plans
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus.
- Ability to operate effectively in an environment with tight deadlines, finite resource and uncertainty
- Language skills: English mandatory, Spanish beneficial
- Some travel to other locations will be required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, in IT related services
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and industry trends
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Solid understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies in procurement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CPM is preferred
- Fluency in English; and Spanish is a must
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits and industry events
