As a Coordinator Organisational Development, you will shape and drive positive organisational change and performance through culture and leadership development and strengthen the organisation’s capability to lead and deliver essential services for Hume, benefiting both employees and the community.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the design and delivery of leadership development programs, providing development opportunities for leaders at all levels.
- Embedding and integrating Hume’s Leadership Capability Framework into People program initiatives and lifecycle
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with internal key stakeholders and employees across Hume City Council to enable a collaborative and inclusive approach to engagement
- Be part of a team that works on implementation of Culture Surveys and Pulse Checks to analyse organisational culture and support leaders to take and track actions.
- Developing evidence-based models and frameworks that embed Hume’s values and best practice to strengthen leadership capability and sustain cultural growth.
- Applying a systems thinking method to program design, identifying opportunities to maximise capability and cultural outcomes and impact throughout the organisation.
- Utilising structured project management and change management methodologies to maximise workforce engagement and achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Leading the procurement and management of contracts with service providers as required.
- Providing leadership coaching and facilitation to leaders as required
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:
- Demonstrated experience leading leadership development, culture, diversity and inclusion, or organisational capability programs along with ability to translate strategy into practical, organisation-wide initiatives.
- Experience designing and delivering coaching, facilitation and engagement activities in a large or complex organisation.
- Experience interpreting survey and diagnostic data to inform leadership actions and organisational planning.
Required Certifications & Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in organisational development, human resources, psychology, education or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
