We are seeking an Instructional Designer to turn our content into blended learning for our product, sales, and leadership training. This position will collaborate with our business psychologist who is responsible for building our leadership assessment tools along with the founders and consultants to design and deliver programs. This role will be responsible for bringing in new and innovative approaches to learning.

The successful candidate will have passion and experience in learning curriculum design and working closely with their team and SMEs to develop a range of learning solutions from live facilitator-led training to self-paced formal and informal online learning.

This is a home-based job-based in any European country.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify business, learning and performance objectives for new learning projects
  • Apply adult learning theories into practical, application-based learning design and development with the ability to convert strategies to effective and engaging learning experiences.
  • Write effective design outlines, scripts and storyboards for videos and eLearning
  • Build interactive eLearning using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement strategies for all learning solutions to demonstrate business impact and effectiveness
  • Communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form and deliver engaging presentations to professionals and business leaders globally
  • Acquire and apply new technology skills to instructional design practice
  • Design Virtual Instructor-led Training (VILT) materials using MS PowerPoint and Adobe Connect (a plus)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of instructional design in corporate or consulting for global clients.
  • Proven, progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness designing learning & development programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation/presentation.
  • Experience with leadership assessment is desirable.
  • A Masters Degree in Instructional Design.
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theory and a willingness to go into virtual reality training. Experience with blended learning and simulation approaches.
  • The ability to root-cause issues, match people strategies to business strategies, and deliver global programs that drive results.
  • Team oriented consensus builder who understands how to achieve buy-in from diverse constituencies, building bridges and designing “win-win” solutions across a matrix management organization.
  • The ability to flourish in a rapidly changing organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity.
