Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and organised On-Call Coordinator to support our team during morning and alternate weekend on-call periods.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am to 8:30am
- Alternate weekends: On call from 4:00pm Friday until Sunday
- Average of 31.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming telephone calls from Care Professionals and clients.
- Responding to staff sickness and absence notifications.
- Arranging emergency cover for care visits when required.
- Supporting the smooth delivery of care services.
- Completing on-call records and handovers.
- Additional administrative duties may be available for the right candidate.
This is an hourly paid position. Some shifts may be quiet with no calls received; however, you will be paid for all scheduled on-call hours.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Previous care, coordination, customer service, or administration experience is desirable but not essential.
