You be required to work Weekends- Morning & Lunches: 06:45-15.00 Morning & Lunches & Evenings: 16:00-22:00.(times can vary)

Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our weekend team in Leigh, United Kingdom. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults by providing personalized, unhurried care in their own homes during weekends.
- Provide personal care assistance including mobility support, bathing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and beverages to meet individual dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients
- Offer companionship through conversation, activities, and emotional support
- Assist with basic health-related tasks such as medication reminders and monitoring (training provided)
- Support clients with light housekeeping duties and daily living activities
- Document care provided by using our secured password protected app
- Travel between client homes within the Leigh and surrounding area to provide consistent weekend coverage
- Respond to client needs with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom
- Valid full driving license with access to reliable personal transportation
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and caring personality with genuine interest in helping others
- Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
- Strong reliability and punctuality, particularly for weekend scheduling commitments
- Ability to work independently while following established care protocols
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and weekend schedules
- Willingness to complete background checks and obtain DBS clearance
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in home care settings
- Previous care experience preferred but not required - comprehensive training provided
- Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and client dignity
