Job Description

At Home Instead East Cheshire we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable - at home. We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to help us support others to stay independent in their own home.

This vacancy is for Waking Nights. The hours would be roughly 9pm - 7am or 10pm-8am. We do not have work immediately available, but have new clients wishing to come on board.

Responsibilities as a Nights Care Assistant:

  • Support with personal care tasks such as toileting and showering.
  • Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying.
  • Respond to your clients needs through the night.
  • Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
  • Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
  • Administer medication and record appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
  • You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
  • You must live in the local area.
  • Must have a caring, friendly personality.
