We are looking for compassionate Home Care Assistants to join our friendly team supporting older adults living independently in Wareham, Purbeck and the surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Home Instead Care Assistant, you will be matched with a small group of regular clients in your local area, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and provide high-quality care.

Unlike many care providers, our visits are a minimum of 1 hour, meaning you have time to provide genuine support and companionship.

Your duties may include:

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Helping clients with morning and evening routines
• Supporting with personal care such as dressing or showering
• Prompting medication
• Preparing simple meals
• Light household tasks
• Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping or social activities

Requirements

• Have a full UK driving licence
• Have access to a reliable vehicle
• Be able to work mornings, evenings and every other weekend
• Be kind, reliable and compassionate
• Be comfortable working in Wareham, Purbeck and surrounding areas

Experience in care is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.
