Job Description
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for Home Instead clients
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Assist with meal preparation when required in your role as a Care Assistant
- Help clients with medication
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in care
Qualifications
- Own vehicle and valid UK driving licence
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills and a caring nature
- Reliability, patience, and empathy
Additional Information
Qualifications & Requirements
- Drivers preferred (but not essential) – many clients require transport to appointments
- Must be able to work in and around Norwich
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS and be registered on the DBS Update Service
- Please note: We do not hold a sponsorship licence
- Previous care experience needed – compassion and reliability are key
