Do you want to make a genuine difference to someone’s life by providing consistent, one-to-one support in their own home?
Home Instead Charnwood is looking for a Live-In Care Professional to support a specific client who requires a male care professional due to personal care needs and preferences. This requirement is in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
This is an ideal role for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and values building meaningful relationships with the person they care for.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
You must also have full right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide live-in support for one client in their own home who is living with cerebral palsy.
- Assist with personal care, medication prompts, meals, mobility, and daily routines
- Carry out light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, and errands
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
- Support the client in attending appointments and enjoying hobbies
- Follow a personalised care plan and communicate regularly with the office team

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- A care professional comfortable providing personal care to a male client
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Must have full right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available
- A kind, respectful and dependable individual
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to support others
- Experience is welcome but not essential – we provide full training
