Job Description
We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Weekend Care Assistant in Havant to provide essential care to clients in Havant and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care, meals, and light housework
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying clients to appointments or activities
- Administering medication and monitoring health changes
- Keeping accurate care records and collaborating with the team
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary
This role is vital for ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature
- Previous care assistant experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
- Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
- Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
