Home Instead are recruiting for people who want to make a difference to or elderly clients in the local community. Can you give support to a client in need? Could you bring extra into somebody’s life? If yes, then caring may be the role for you. Home Instead provide one to-one care services within the client’s household.  You will be visiting your client matches and providing high-quality, private care services to suit the individual requiring support.

We are recruiting for the early shift. Hours will include 8 am start – 1.15 pm finish.

You will be trained and expected to deliver all services including:

• Personal hygiene care
• Nutrition and hydration
• Medication administration
• Infection control
• Dementia
• End of Life
• Legislation & policies
• Manual handling & basic life support
• All Carers are assisted to achieve their Care Certificate within 12 weeks of employment.

No formal experience or qualifications required. Home Instead will give you full in-house training. You will also shadow a senior carer when first meeting your clients. 

Location: Although we like to keep you working as close to home as possible, however please be aware our clients are situated across the following postcodes: BR5, DA14, BR8, DA4, DA3, DA13, TN15, & TN14. 

Salary: rate of £12.50 - £13 per hour. You will also receive an additional £11.44 (pro-rata) for your travel time and 30 p per mile for fuel.
