We provide an extremely high quality of care with the personal touch that sets us apart and has been very successful with our clients. We provide a minimum of 1 hour home visits to a predominantly private client base but focus being on providing companionship and non-medical care.

We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on personality, hobbies, and interests which help us build great relationships and trust with them.

Job Description

A lovely, chatty lady requires slow and gentle support to remain independent and active at home. We are looking for the right person with a kind, compassionate heart who, as her CAREGiver, could make a true difference to her quality of life.

This will be for every other weekend on Saturday & Sunday in Trowbridge from 8pm - 8am. 

£76 per shift

As a sleep-in CAREGiver, you will provide an environment that keeps her safe, confident and independent in her own home. You will arrive at 8pm and support her bedtime routine. After tucking her in for the night you will retire to your own room. CAREGivers reside in their own separate room with access to WiFi. You are not required to deliver significant care overnight. You will have continuous contact and support from your team leader.

Qualifications

  • Empathy, good listening skills, and a willingness to make a difference to someone's life. The rest you need to know will be taught through our accredited training with opportunities for specialisation and progress.
  • Personal experience of caring for a friend or relative is ideal.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • English speaking.
  • Driver preferred but not essential.

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on finding creative ways to improve an older person's life. You will be reliable, trustworthy, compassionate and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and be part of a team focusing on making the world a better place for the older members of our community.
