Job Description

As a Care Supervisor your role will encompass:-

Carrying out support visits whilst CAREGiver is supporting a client.

Carry out service reviews with clients

Review the CAREGiver teams on a bi-monthly basis with the Care Managers and Scheduler.

Carry out introductions i.e. phoning CAREGivers prior to new clients and provide a profile of their care plan.

Communicate client and CAREGiver concerns or problems with the appropriate managers.

To maintain confidentiality at all times in accordance with the Company’s Confidentiality Policy.

To be conversant with the Care Standards Act 2008 for Domiciliary Care Regulations (National Minimum Standards)

To represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication. To ensure that telephones are answered promptly and people are spoken to in a polite and respectful manner.

Arrange CAREGiver team meetings as requested by Care Manager(s)

To carry out the monitoring of the service in the field to ensure that it meets the quality targets of the Company, and to keep the Care Manager(s) informed of the outcomes and issues that are identified.

Report any issues regarding the legislative requirements concerning the services provided and the staff providing them to the Care Manager(s).

Make reviews of written Care Plans, examine the written records of medication administration, finance and daily log notes kept by Staff as required by the Care Manager(s)

 

 

Qualifications

QCF Level 3 or working towards this qualification.
