Job Description
Role Overview: As a Pharmacist, you'll lead day-to-day pharmacy operations on your shift, ensuring comprehensive, patient-oriented care. You'll supervise support staff, exercise clinical and management judgment, and collaborate with coordinators to resolve issues. This role is vital in training pharmacy interns and externs, advancing patient care, and upholding Henry Ford Health's commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.
What You Will Do: Provide comprehensive, patient-oriented pharmacy services on your assigned shift. - Supervise and direct supportive staff to ensure efficient operations. - Exercise sound clinical and management judgment in the absence of senior staff. - Assist coordinators in identifying and resolving problems in your practice area. - Participate in training pharmacy interns, externs, and technician trainees. - Disseminate drug information to healthcare personnel and provide instruction on drug therapy.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: - Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. - Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan (must obtain within 30 days of hire). - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Thorough understanding of pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy of disease states. - Ability to participate in teaching programs and instruct students and healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications: - Residency in hospital pharmacy.
