Role Overview: As a Surgical Technologist, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Surgical Team members. You¿ll anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team, support patient preparation and transport, and assist with specific patient care duties to ensure safety and comfort. Your expertise contributes directly to the success of surgical outcomes and patient well-being.

What You Will Do:
- Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during general to moderately complex procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with patient preparation and transport, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Support the surgical care team with specific patient care duties.
- Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or six (6) months specialized patient care training in the armed forces.
- Specific knowledge of surgical procedures, practices, and techniques in the operating room (OR).
- Current BLS certification or ability to become BLS certified within one month of start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Surgical Technologist certification.
