Role Overview

As a Research Programmer III, you will design, code, test, document, and support research data collection, tracking, analysis, and reporting systems. Working under minimal supervision, you'll collaborate with project managers, principal investigators, and senior technical staff to develop solutions that drive research initiatives forward. Your work will directly support advancements in healthcare and contribute to the success of critical research projects.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop research data collection, tracking, analysis, and reporting systems.
  • Code, test, and document systems using multiple programming languages and relational database systems.
  • Support research projects by ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Adapt to varying project needs, utilizing different operating systems and technologies as required.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, Database Development, Web Development, or similar technical program.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Programming, Database Development, Web Development, or similar technical program.
  • Experience with human subjects research, healthcare administrative data, pharmaceutical industry drug/device trials, epidemiology, or statistical analysis.
