Role Overview

As a Rad Tech-CT, you will specialize in performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic imaging. You may also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations, supporting both patients and healthcare providers. Your role is critical in providing essential imaging data that aids in diagnosis and treatment planning, directly impacting patient care and outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.
  • Conduct general diagnostic radiology examinations as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of imaging results to support patient care.
  • Maintain required hours of continuing education to stay current with industry standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS) obtained within one (1) month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty.
  • Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with computerized tomographic procedures.
