Job Title

This CSR is for the very busy Family & Internal medicine clinic along with including same day integrated and International Travel. Patients will wait longer to be registered, longer lines, will have to pull CSRs from other clinics to cover desk. The desk also includes travel clinic which is also a very busy clinic so longer lines. Employee engagement and Press Ganey will be negatively impacted.

Role Overview

As a Clinic Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients across our healthcare system. You'll support patients, clinic staff, and medical teams by managing all aspects of patient registration, from check-in to discharge. Your work directly contributes to the efficiency and excellence of patient care, making a meaningful impact every day.

What You Will Do

  • Greet patients and manage face-to-face check-in and check-out processes.
  • Handle preregistration, insurance verification, and cash collections.
  • Reconcile patient charts and assist with patient discharge procedures.
  • Discuss general financial responsibilities with patients and connect them to the Customer Service Center.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate patient registration.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform calculations and complete forms.
  • Proficiency in using computer information systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team setting.
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating software and email.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with a clinic environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
