As a Referral Coordinator I, you will be responsible for efficiently processing referrals, scheduling specialist appointments, and ensuring seamless coordination of patient care. You¿ll collaborate with patients, providers, and staff to maintain optimal service delivery, leveraging technology and workflows to deliver exceptional customer service. Your role is vital in fostering positive relationships and ensuring timely, effective referral processing.

What You Will Do
- Process referrals efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Schedule specialist appointments and coordinate patient care seamlessly.
- Collaborate with patients, providers, and staff to maintain optimal service delivery.
- Leverage EPIC and other technologies to manage workflows and patient records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in registration and appointment scheduling in a healthcare setting.
- One (1) year of experience in clinic appointment scheduling and working with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly EPIC.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree.
- Previous experience working directly with providers.
