Role Overview

As an Optometric Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting our optometrists in providing comprehensive visual and medical exams. You¿ll assist with preliminary testing, electronic medical record entries, and patient education, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for every patient. Your work directly contributes to improving vision health and overall well-being in our community.

What You Will Do

• Assist the doctor with comprehensive visual and medical exams.
• Perform preliminary testing and support in-office minor medical procedures.
• Enter patient data into electronic medical records accurately.
• Conduct contact lens classes and follow-ups with patients.
• Provide post-exam follow-up and support duties as needed.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service or optometric tech experience.
• Computer and/or electronic medical records knowledge.
