About the Department

As part of Henry Ford Health's Community Care Services, our Occupational Health team plays a vital role in expanding access to care by focusing on the health and well-being of employees across manufacturing and non-manufacturing environments. We are dedicated to promoting, protecting, and restoring employee health through comprehensive occupational health nursing practices, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all.

Role Overview

As an RN in Occupational Health, you will maintain an autonomous nursing practice, utilizing the AAOHN domains to support employee health within diverse work environments. Your role is critical in upholding nursing practice standards in the State of Michigan, ensuring the safety and health of our workforce.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• RN diploma/degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid RN license in the State of Michigan.
• Current BCLS certification.
• 12 months of accumulated nursing experience within the last 5 years, or completion of 1200 verified hours of employment within the last 12 months as a new graduate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• ABOHN certification (COHN, COHN-S, COHN-S/CM, etc.).
