Role Overview
As a Unit Secretary, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of your assigned unit by handling all clerical and reception duties. You will support healthcare professionals, patients, and their families, contributing to a positive and efficient patient experience. - Manage all clerical and reception duties for your assigned unit.
- Ensure smooth communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support unit operations.
- Follow the Henry Ford Health Systems Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.
Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting such as a medical office, hospital, or laboratory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a unit secretary.
