Job Description
Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking to employee a Neurosurgeon to join the Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson.
Part of the Henry Ford Family (HFH -Detroit Area), this opportunity is in Jackson, Michigan, where we entered our 100th year May 2018. The partnership with Henry Ford Health is very exciting for Henry Ford Health - Jackson facility and our community.
Opportunity:
- Hospital-employed Neurosurgery opportunity with high volume and APP support
- Level 2 Trauma Center
- Call 1:4 / 90% outpatient – 10% inpatient
- Case load Adult 90% / Peds 10% / 20-25 patients a day in clinic (Avg 5 new patients)
- OR block time, with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR/3 days clinic)
- Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and neurosurgical services on-site
- Procedures: Spine (C,T,L) Surgeries (Fusion/Decompression) Kyphoplasty, SCS Implant, Craniectomy/Plasty, Shunt Placement
- Potential -For teaching, academic appointment with Michigan State University

Qualifications
Must be ABNS Board Eligible/Certified in Neurosurgery - Open to new grads.
