As a Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients in our assigned area. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and support. This role is essential in maintaining the health and well-being of our community, working closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate and treat patients using appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
  • Recommend and participate in initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
  • Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for hospitalized patients.
  • Participate in academic programs, including medical education and research, as requested.
  • Provide thorough documentation to meet insurance requirements and appeal denials promptly.

    Qualifications

    What You Will Need

    Required Qualifications

    • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
    • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Michigan.
    • Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in inpatient and outpatient consultation.
    • Familiarity with case management and discharge planning processes.
