Role Overview
As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will assist in patient care, respond to emergent situations, and contribute to the overall care plan. Your work directly supports our nursing team and enhances the patient experience, making a meaningful impact every day.

- Assist the RN in providing patient care to meet safety and comfort needs.
- Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
- Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one (1) year of previous experience in a similar role.
- Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA certification preferred.
