The Emergency Department at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is a Community-based teaching ED situated within Downtown Wyandotte.  The ED sees over 45,000 patients per year and boasts 42 rooms including 5 Mental Health Secured Unit, and 3 Trauma Bays.  HFWH is a Primary Stroke Center, offers a 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab, EMS Direct to Cardiac Cath Lab and a Level III Trauma Center.  We are dedicated to serving our community through growth, continual process improvement and providing team-based emergency care. Our staff include Physicians, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, ED Technicians/Paramedics, Unit Secretaries, and Social Workers.  We offer a comprehensive, individually-tailored orientation program based on your experience, skill level and personal needs.  Our staff enjoy multiple shift options with patterned scheduling.  Ideal candidates value accountability, embrace change and are high-energy team players dedicated to providing high-quality care and an excellent patient experience.

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring patients and their families receive the support they need. Your role is critical in fostering effective communication within the healthcare team and finding solutions to meet patient goals.

What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
