Role Overview

As a Clinic/Department Supervisor, you will provide first-line management and clinical leadership to a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, MAs, and LPNs. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of quality, compassionate patient care while supporting the Nurse Manager and healthcare team in maintaining a high-standard practice setting.

What You Will Do

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervisory support to a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate and deliver quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching for patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, healthcare team, and medical group leaders to ensure a quality practice setting.
  • Participate in planning and budget development for the clinic/department.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification per Henry Ford Health policy.
  • Two to three (2-3) years of nursing experience in a clinical environment.
  • Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory Orientation.
  • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience.
