Job Description
**What You Will Do**
- **Master the numbers game**: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and expense management for the division—think of yourself as the financial quarterback keeping everything on track.
- **Build the business case**: Develop financial analysis and business plans that turn strategic initiatives from "wouldn't it be nice?" to "let's make it happen!"
- **Keep the financial engine running**: Oversee financial reporting, cost reports, accounts payable, and purchasing to ensure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
- **Lead with confidence**: Guide your team through assigned duties and responsibilities, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone thrives.
- **Be the bridge**: Communicate with third parties, including physicians and CPA firms, translating financial insights into meaningful conversations.
- **Stay in the zone**: Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Henry Ford Health System policies—because doing things right matters.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in finance or accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of CPA firm experience.
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- CPA certification.
