GENERAL SUMMARY:
As Manager of OptimEyes, you'll lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional eye care experiences. You'll drive store excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, developing talented team members, and ensuring every customer interaction exceeds expectations. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Excellence & Strategic Growth
- Drive measurable improvements across all store operations—from inventory and merchandising to customer service and marketing—while optimizing payroll and insurance management
- Maintain meticulous records and prepare insightful reports that demonstrate store performance and inform strategic decisions
- Demonstrate initiative and adaptability in implementing new policies and procedures, while proactively addressing operational challenges
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and nurture high-performing teams by recruiting talented employees and ensuring optimal staffing levels
- Empower your team through cross-training initiatives that develop versatile skills and create advancement opportunities
- Conduct regular staff meetings that align team efforts with corporate goals and foster a collaborative, committed culture
- Provide meaningful feedback, recognition, and coaching that inspires growth; conduct performance evaluations that support employee development
- Assess individual strengths and development needs, creating personalized training plans and maintaining comprehensive performance documentation

- Anticipate and exceed customer expectations by personally modeling exceptional service and ensuring your team does the same

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Requires high school diploma or GED. Associates Degree is preferred.
- Requires an understanding of budgets, revenue and expenses.
- Requires previous optical experience.
- Demonstration of managerial, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Completion of all required training courses.
- ABO Certification preferred.
- Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy
- Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services.
Additional Information
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in a retail office environment. Weekly schedule may span across seven days, and may include nights and weekends
