Job Description

Location: West Bloomfield

Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week), Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Shift: Variable

 

GENERAL SUMMARY: Ready to be the star of our parking operation? As a Valet Driver, you'll be the friendly face keeping our hospital running smoothly! You'll transport vehicles between the hospital entrance and our valet parking areas while helping direct traffic with confidence and a smile. It's all about making our guests' arrivals and departures seamless and stress-free!

  • Transport vehicles to and from the hospital entrance to valet parking areas with skill and care
  • Assist in traffic control at hospital entrances to keep things flowing smoothly
  • Maintain a professional and polished appearance that reflects our hospital's standards
  • Operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles with confidence
  • Demonstrate excellent visual acuity and spatial awareness while navigating the parking areas
  • Follow all instructions—both written and verbal—with attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively under direct supervision to support the hospital's valet operations

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Referred High School/G.E.D. equivalent preferred. 
  • Must be able to read and write to understand oral and written instructions. 
  • Must learn to operate a manual transmission upon hire. 
  • Must have near and far visual acuity and depth and spatial perception when driving vehicles. 
  • Must always be clean neat and professional in appearance. 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: 

  • Must have a valid driver's license in good standing, four (4) or fewer points.
