- Serve as surgical first assist in the OR—harvesting radial arteries and saphenous veins with precision and skill
- Deliver expert inpatient consultations for cardiac surgery evaluations and pre-operative workups
- Collaborate with top-tier cardiovascular surgeons to provide innovative, exceptional patient care
- Help drive the growth of a rapidly expanding regional cardiovascular surgery hub
- Work at the top of your license and make a real difference in patients' lives
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Michigan licensure as an NP or PA
- National certification (ANCC or AANP for NP; NCCPA for PA)
- DEA registration and Michigan Controlled Substance License (PA only)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification
- Minimum 2 years of OR first assist experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience with vein harvesting and radial artery procurement
- Prior experience working with cardiothoracic surgical teams
