Work Setup: Hybrid - Remote and on client site (Chester, UK, with occasional travel to Germany and the Netherlands)

Our client in the IT Services & IT Consulting industry is looking for a SAP Safeguards Consultant to support an ongoing project within the nuclear energy sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA safeguards and compliance, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to industry regulations. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires the ability to secure SC clearance due to the sensitivity of the project.

• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA safeguards implementations, ensuring compliance with nuclear sector standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across WM, PP, and OTC modules to design and deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop detailed functional specifications spanning multiple SAP areas for complex developments.
• Contribute to full lifecycle project activities, from requirements gathering and design to testing, training, and hypercare.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices to maintain system integrity and compliance with industry frameworks.
• Conduct user training and testing to ensure solution adoption and operational readiness.
• Support key project phases that may require increased onsite presence, such as workshops and hypercare.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in SAP Safeguards within S/4HANA deployments.
• Previous experience in the energy or nuclear sector is highly beneficial.
• Proven functional expertise in WM, PP, and OTC modules.
• Strong background in writing detailed functional specifications and managing complex SAP developments.
• Demonstrated experience in training, testing, and full project lifecycle delivery.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry best practices in highly regulated environments.
• Must hold BPSS clearance and be eligible for SC clearance (UK Nationals only).
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and to Germany and the Netherlands as required. No more than 2 weeks away each month.
• Necessity to be onsite more than 1 week per month in some phases of the project, e.g. hypercare and workshop phases

Clearance Required: BPSS and ability to obtain SC clearance (UK Nationals only)
