Job Description

How will you fight for an AIDS-free generation?

The Procurement & Logistics Intern  will assist in the day-to-day implementation of procurement activities. He/She will be under direct supervision of the Procurement and Logistics Assistant.

No two days are alike at EGPAF, but what can you expect in this role?

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Prepare verification visits

  • Prepare the visit schedule
  • Contact suppliers to set appointments
  • Print verification forms and checklists

2. Conduct site visits

  • Verify the physical existence of the company
  • Check the address, facilities and equipment
  • Assess the supplier’s operational capacity
  • Take photos of the visited site
  • Conduct on-site visits and inspections of warehouses, workshops and/or offices to confirm operational capacity

3. Check administrative documents

  • Business registration
  • Tax clearance certificate
  • Taxpayer ID card
  • Bank details (RIB)
  • Licenses or specific authorizations (if applicable)

4. Collect and analyze information

  • Collect data on technical and financial capacity
  • Verify the supplier’s business references
  • Identify any risks or inconsistencies

Qualifications

To be successful, you will have:

  • Education 
    • Minimum two years of university study” (Logistics and Transport, or any equivalent degree in Business or Management)
    • Ability to communicate in French and/or English
  • Knwoledge and Skills
    • Good knowledge of the cities of Yaoundé and Douala
    • Proficiency in computer tools
    • Experience in conducting market studies
