He aha te tūranga - About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join us on a permanent, part time basis. This is a vital role supporting our Community Education programmes including St John in Schools and 3 Steps for Life, which upskill people across Aotearoa with vital, life-saving skills. Our small team of administrators provide administration and customer service support to ensure the smooth running of these programmes nationwide. 

This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week - how this is worked across the week is flexible for the right candidate. This is a hybrid role, working from our Ellerslie office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbox management and customer service
  • Programme bookings and liaising with external stakeholders
  • Data entry and file management 
  • Purchase orders and resource management
  • Supporting the wider Community Education team 

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong administration skills and comfortable working with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • "Can do' attitude and team player focused on delivering positive outcomes 
  • Be able to build strong, meaningful relationships across a diverse range of people
  • Experience in the community/volunteer sector would be advantageous
