Job Description
He aha te tūranga - About the role:
We now have an opportunity with our South Westland team for a non-clinical person to volunteer as Operational Support. We are seeking volunteers at the below stations:
- Haast
- Fox Glacier
- Franz Josef
- Hari Hari
This is an important ambulance support role with a primary focus to prepare Hato Hone St John vehicles for operational readiness which means you'll be an essential worker supporting our front-line emergency service. There will also be additional duties and project work as required.
We're looking for flexible and adaptable people with no previous experience required - training provided!
Please note that this role does not include responding to medical emergencies and does not have a clinical component.
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Full drivers license
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and planning skills
- Reliability and punctuality (turning up on time is a big deal)
- Friendly, approachable attitude
- The ability to work unsupervised or equally as part of a diverse team.
