Job Description
This role will work alongside the Public Education Programme Manager and FA and Emergency Care Programme Lead to:
- Realign First Aid Level 1 and Level 2 offering, ensuring we better meet market expectations, regulatory compliance and product leadership position
- Implement and embed changes associated with the transition from NZQA unit standards to skill standards
- Work with care customers, including but not limited to New Zealand Police, to develop and deliver fit-for-purpose training solutions as per contracts
- Work alongside National Sales Manager, Product Manager and Marketing to drive business growth by aligning with customer requirements, brand awareness and product positioning.
- Ensure seamless integration of customer insights and market trends into programme strategies
- Facilitate clinical sessions for First Aid tutor development
- Work with the wider Programme Development Team to ensure day-to-day enquiries and updates are implemented in an appropriate time frame
This is a 12-month fixed-term position working 20 hours across a minimum of 3 days/week (with flexibility on days).
Location: You can be based anywhere in the motu (remotely).
Current Hato Hone St John employees: This role is available as a secondment opportunity or as a standalone 0.5 additional role.
Qualifications

What you'll bring:
- Minimum three years clinical experience
- Experience in developing, reviewing, or contributing to medical or clinical content, ideally in education or training capacity
- Knowledge of First Aid sector is beneficial, but not essential
- Experience in evaluating and integrating research findings into practice or training content
- Experience designing and developing e-learning resources using Rise (within the Articulate suite) is beneficial
- Computer literacy with the ability to use Word, Teams, SharePoint etc without guidance
