Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Revit Technician to take a hands‑on leadership role in the technical leadership of the delivery of complex architectural projects in our Melbourne studio. This role combines technical project leadership, consultant integration, documentation production and construction-phase support. You will be a key member of the project leadership team, responsible for producing and overseeing Revit documentation. You will also be involved in leading consultant coordination and supporting delivery through to construction and to ensure projects are realised with clarity, quality and constructability. 

What you will be doing:

  • Take a lead role in the technical delivery of medium to large, complex projects from design development through construction 
  • Produce high‑quality Revit documentation and manage documentation/delivery strategy 
  • Set up, manage, and maintain project Revit models, standards, and documentation workflows 
  • Lead consultant coordination, including integration of structural, services, façade, and specialist consultant models 
  • Manage clash detection, resolve interface issues, and support design and technical decision‑making 
  • Actively participate in and, where required, lead technical coordination meetings 
  • Ensure documentation meets Hassell standards, statutory requirements, and consultant and contractor expectations 
  • Provide construction-phase support, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and resolving technical issues during delivery 
  • Contribute to site-based coordination, supporting quality, intent, and technical resolution during construction 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring, supporting team members to develop strong Revit and documentation skills 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital delivery, QA processes, and technical standards within the studio 

 

Qualifications

You'll bring 15 years experience producing and leading Revit documentation within an architectural practice, along with a passion for technical excellence and collaborative project delivery. 

You'll also have: 

  • Advanced Revit capability and a strong understanding of architectural documentation, detailing and construction methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating consultants and supporting multidisciplinary project teams. 
  • Proven experience supporting projects through construction, including responding to site queries and resolving technical issues. 
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with consultants, contractors and project leaders. 
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to balance hands-on production with technical leadership responsibilities. 
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for mentoring others and continuously improving technical delivery.
