Job Description

The Bid Manager is responsible for leading a global team of bid coordinators to deliver high-quality, competitive submissions and client engagement content. This role focuses on ensuring design excellence, efficient bid processes, and effective resource management while driving continuous improvement across the business. Reporting to the Sector Operations Leader and the Head of Clients and Future Business, the Bid Manager collaborates with key stakeholders to strengthen Hassell’s ability to win impactful projects through distinctive and innovative bids.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage priorities and expectations across a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage bid processes and deliver high-quality submissions.
  • Expertise in Graphic Design using Adobe InDesign and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging branding guidelines to create tailored client materials.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet key deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, graphic, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write and review content for bids and collateral, ensuring clarity and alignment with client needs.
  • Creative thinking skills for developing innovative and memorable client materials.
  • Experience in collecting and analysing win/loss feedback and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher qualification, or related discipline and a qualification in Graphic Design (desirable)
