Our Regulatory Services Team are looking for an experienced Building Review Officer to join our team. If you think this could be you - lets talk.

• You enjoy working as part of a team, but also have the ability to work independently.
• You are confident in providing accurate and professional advice to our customers.
• You love having variety in your work.
• You have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and can collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

For this role you must:

• Hold an appropriate NZ technical Regulation 18 qualification.
• Have thorough knowledge and experience with the building controls regulatory framework including the Building Act, Building Code and related standards.
• Have the ability to read and understand both legislation and building plans and documentation.
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Ideally have R1-R3 and C1-C2 Competency.
