Are you Hamilton City Council's next Building Review Officer?
Our Regulatory Services Team are looking for an experienced Building Review Officer to join our team. If you think this could be you - lets talk.

- You are confident in providing accurate and professional advice to our customers.
- You love having variety in your work.
- You have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and can collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications

For this role you must:
- Hold an appropriate NZ technical Regulation 18 qualification.
- Have thorough knowledge and experience with the building controls regulatory framework including the Building Act, Building Code and related standards.
- Have the ability to read and understand both legislation and building plans and documentation.
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Ideally have R1-R3 and C1-C2 Competency.
