Job Description

Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Facilities & Maintenance Technician I to join our team. This role requires flexibility in scheduling to meet operational needs. Under general supervision, the technician will perform basic maintenance and repair tasks across multiple systems including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, motor controls, plumbing, welding, and general facilities upkeep.

Equipment serviced includes CNC machines, CO₂ lasers, paint systems, pumps, compressors, welders, hoists, HVAC systems, and factory utilities (gas, water, air). Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.

 Essential Functions:

  • Adhere to safety standards while operating tools and equipment.
  • Complete work orders efficiently and with high-quality results.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with team members, contractors, and vendors.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally to exchange relevant information.
  • Adapt to changing schedules and priorities; respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

​​​​​​Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must meet one of the following criteria:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance
    • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Ability to perform manual tasks throughout the work shift, including:
    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 35 lbs), and repetitive motions.
  • Willingness to work any shift and potential overtime, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates are preferred to have experience and basic troubleshooting ability in at least three of the following areas:

  • Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems
  • Industrial Pumps & Drive Systems
  • Motor Controls
  • Industrial Utilities (Electrical Systems, Gas, Air)
  • Industrial Machine Maintenance
  • CO₂ Lasers
