Sales and Marketing Lead - Tyre Collections
- Full-time
- Job Category: Sales
Company Description
Our client, Treadlite, is New Zealand's leading tyre collection and recycling company, with an established national footprint and an exciting growth agenda.
We’re looking for a commercially minded Sales & Marketing Lead to join the team in Cambridge and play a key role in growing and retaining the customer base.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, winning new business and turning ideas into action.
Job Description
You’ll be at the heart of the company’s customer and growth strategy, combining business development, account management, sales support and marketing.
You’ll identify new opportunities, make those all-important calls, visit customers, build relationships and help turn prospects into long-term customers.
At the same time, you’ll support the wider team with sales tools, campaigns, customer communications and ideas that help everyone have better conversations in the market.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident and personable with strong relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven and comfortable asking for the business
- Proactive, organised and great at following things through
- Comfortable making cold calls and getting out to meet customers
- Creative enough to come up with great marketing and engagement ideas
- Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player
- Experienced in sales, marketing, account management or customer relationships
Experience with CRM systems is an advantage. Knowledge of automotive, logistics, waste management or recycling would be great — but isn’t essential.
Most importantly, we’re looking for the right attitude and cultural fit.
Whilst this role is primarily office based with some flexibility, you will be required to travel to sites across New Zealand (approximately 20 nights away from home per annum).
Additional Information
What’s in it for you?
- Join a successful, purpose-driven NZ business with a strong national presence
- Take ownership of sales, customer engagement and marketing initiatives
- Work across a diverse customer base including retailers, fleets and workshops
- Get out into the market — this is a genuinely hands-on, customer-facing role
- Company vehicle and travel allowance
- Supportive, down-to-earth and collaborative team environment
- Real opportunity to influence how the business grows and engages with customers
This is a role for someone who wants to make things happen, not simply manage a pipeline.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence sales strategy, strengthen customer relationships, develop new business and help shape the company’s national market presence.
If you’re commercially hungry, people-focused and ready for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you. To find out more, please contact our HR Partner, HR Connect Limited or simply apply below.
