    We are now looking for two Transit Associates to join our Logistics team. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring seamless transit operations for goods moving through our global supply chain. Working closely with internal stakeholders, transport providers, customs authorities, and service partners, you will help secure efficient cargo movement while maintaining high standards of compliance, accuracy, and service delivery. If you enjoy working in a dynamic international environment, have a passion for logistics, and thrive in solving operational challenges, this could be the opportunity for you. 

    WHAT YOU’LL DO 

    As a Transit Associate, you will support the daily transit operations that enable products to move efficiently across our supply chain network. You will plan and coordinate transport activities, manage documentation processes, collaborate with external partners, and contribute to operational excellence across multiple transportation modes. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    Transit Operations & Administration 

    • Coordinate incoming and outgoing cargo movements across various transport modes. 
    • Ensure accurate handling and maintenance of shipment documentation. 
    • Support customs-related activities and transit documentation requirements. 
    • Monitor transit shipments and help resolve operational issues and deviations. 
    • Review freight and service invoices to ensure compliance and accuracy. 
    • Support insurance claims and transport-related administrative activities. 

    Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration 

    • Collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, service providers, and internal stakeholders. 
    • Communicate shipment status updates and operational insights to relevant partners. 
    • Work closely with Global Transport, Trade & Customs teams to support business objectives. 
    • Build strong partnerships that contribute to efficient and compliant transit operations. 

    Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement 

    • Maintain shipment and transport records within approved business systems. 
    • Ensure high-quality data management and support operational reporting. 
    • Contribute process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives. 
    • Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities to enhance service delivery. 

    Compliance & Governance 

    • Ensure activities comply with company policies, customs regulations, and local requirements. 
    • Support adherence to safety, security, and administrative procedures. 
    • Participate in operational reviews, audits, and documentation control activities. 

    WHO YOU ARE 

    We are looking for someone who combines operational expertise with strong collaboration and communication skills. To succeed in this role, you have: 

    • Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, shipping or supply chain operations. 
    • Knowledge of international transportation and shipping processes across sea, air, and road freight. 
    • Experience working with customs documentation and customs formalities. 
    • Strong administration and documentation management skills. 
    • Experience collaborating with external logistics service providers and transport partners. 
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. 
    • Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP Transportation Management System (TMS) is an advantage. 
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. 
    • A structured, solution-oriented, and self-driven approach to work. 
    • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. 
    • Fluency in English; additional local language skills are considered a benefit.
